3g iPad

There are currently two versions of the ipad. The wi-fi version and the 3g version. In order to access a 3g network you will need to sign up with a 3g carrier such as Vodafone Ltd, Orange, o2 or Three.

There are many deals available with different carriers offering deals such as free credit towards your subscription or no long contract.

The 3g version of the iPad allows you to connect to the internet using the 3g phone network without the need for Wi-fi connectivity.

Most importantly, 3g connectivity means that you dont need to rely on a wi-fi connection (or being near to a coffee shop, business area, or home for example) in order to experience the joys of the web.
